Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized “Aapki Adalat” for Grades VII – IX on November 23rd, 2017 in which scholars enacted the famous personalities / legends of all fields – Bollywood, Politics, Sports personality and Freedom fighters. Training of voice modulation and various aspects of each personality was done by our drama and personality development mentors. Participants dressed up according to the personality and each participant was asked questions by the anchors. Participants gave small introduction and presented themselves with confidence. Audience was mesmerized with the scholar’s performance.
Science is all about 'whats' and 'hows' and 'whens' !! Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized a visit to Sub Divisional Science Park, Jodhpur for Pre-Primary Wing on 22 November, 2017. The exposure given to children related to science and technology encourages them to imagine and mould their ideas in practical life skills. Few specific concepts such as learning about animals, plants, weather and the physical world were delivered to the scholars. Their curiosity was very much evident by the questions they have asked. The visit encouraged the children to experience the world of science and think about the ‘why of it’.
Pink color signifies love, beauty and kindness. To make the scholars learn and understand about pink color LIS organized Pink Color Day celebration on November 30th, 2017 for Pre- Primary wing. All the children looked charismatic in pink color clothing. Children participated enthusiastically in the array of science activities. The color activity explained well about the formation of pink color. They all enjoyed a lot and simultaneously understood the aesthetic sense of pink color very well. The purpose of celebrating Pink Color Day was fruitful as the scholars learnt systematically with great joy and lively fun.
Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized a Power Point Group Competition on November 18th, 2017 for Grades V and VI. The students prepared a Power Point Presentation in school itself on the random topics given as –"Polar Bear", "The Great Indian Bustard", “Indian Elephant" , “Indus River Dolphin” for Grade - V, and “Endangered Species", “White Rhino”, “ Snow Leopard”, “ Bengal Tiger” Grades - VI. All the students did their tasks well which showed good team spirit and bonding.
Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized a Cooking Competition titled as “Mom n Me” on November 17, 2017 for Grades I and II. The competition started with great enthusiasm and showed the bond of love and care between toddler and mom. They were given 45 minutes to prepare their dish without using fire or any electric appliances. The view was pleasing as all did their best and the competition was judged by our vivid chef’s Mr.Siddharth and Mr.Bhupendra Singh Sodha on the basis of their Presentation, Sanitation, Hygiene and ofcource the Taste. The following were the winners of the competition first – Mrs. Kamini Boolani & Kavya Boolani, second - Mrs. Parmeshwari Rajpurohit & Lakshya Raj, third - Mrs. Sanjogita Rana & Tanirika Rana.
Lucky international school, Jodhpur organized a special assembly on November 15, 2017 by Grade II on the theme “Hope”. It is to await, to long for, or desire something in the future. Hope is the light ahead the tunnel you cross. The scholars presented a skit and explained the theme by performing flawlessly. Witnessing this, school Principal, the Coordinators and Mentors appreciated the scholars and motivated them “never lose hope and try their best”.
The most awaited event – school picnic on 14th November. On Children’s Day, students of Grades III to IX were taken to Thar Camp, Osian for a Picnic. The students visited the Osian Mata Temple and the Jain Temple en-route to Thar Camp. Students were welcomed by the traditional ‘tilak’ on their foreheads followed with a welcome drink. They were amused to ride the camels and the camel cart. Students were entertained with a live Kalbelia dance performance. The performance was so enchanting that the students also joined the group of dancers. There was a fun filled jam session which the students enjoyed to the maximum. They relished the tasty food served to them. The students departed from the picnic spot with fond memories and a desire to revisit.
“Childhood means, Fun unlimited, Bounteous shower…Of love and care… Realm of imagination…, Joy of growing up… Happy Children’s Day!” Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized a picnic for Pre-Primary wing and Grades I & II on November 13th, 2017 to make the day special for scholars. All the scholars were excited to go for their much awaited picnic. The scholars were taken to Mandore Fun World, Jodhpur. On the way, the scholars enjoyed in their respective buses, sang songs/poems and danced energetically all along. On reaching the picnic spots the students ran out of their buses smiling with glittering eyes that were keen to know about the surprises. The scholars were accompanied by their mentors and were amused by the activities like puppet show, swings and rides. The day created beautiful memories to be cherished by them for a long time to come. The laughter and joy that was witnessed amongst the children was something beyond words.
Lucky International School, Jodhpur has organized an Exhibition ‘Spectacles Brain’ on 11th November 2017. In this academic exhibition, projects related to various topics from subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Economics, G.K, ICT, Robotics and languages like English, Hindi and French were displayed. Students have displayed exceptional abilities in creating and displaying the working models. The exhibition was open for the parents, who in turn appreciated the efforts put up by the students and the mentors. Various projects like Law of Conservation of momentum, Newton’s Law of Motion, Robotic Football, Earth Quake Detector, the English Language corner, Galaxy Photo Booth etc. made the visitors awestruck. The school Chairman and the visitors interacted with the students and were full of appreciation for the descriptions given by the students. The Principal Mrs. Ragini Kachhawaha praised the students and the teachers for such a brilliant show.
