INDEPENDENCE DAY AND JANMASHTMI CELEBRATION

India’s Independence Day is an annual observance celebrated every year on August 15, 2017. It is a day of great pride and significance for the people of the nation. On this day India got freedom from the British rule after long years of slavery. It has been declared as the national and gazette day all across the country in order to independently commemorate the independence of country from British Empire on August 15, 2017 in 1947. India has celebrated its 71st Independence Day in the year 2017 to pay tribute and remember all the freedom fighters that had contributed a lot and fought for the Independence of India. LIS campus in the ambience of patriotism, the Independence Day celebration was held with huge enthusiasm and zest. It started with the unfurling of the national flag by the school’s Chairman Sir Mr.S.N Kachhawaha followed by the national anthem and all present gave salute to our nation and its pride. The function comprised of further fabulous performances, viz, dance, songs, yoga and dhai handi with a story behind janamashthami, we celebrated August 15, 2017. It was a successful event and students mesmerized all by their wonderful performances.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY (Class IV)

On August 10, 2017 at LIS a special assembly was organized on the theme “Better Environment, Better Tomorrow” by class IV. The assembly started with a beautiful thought “Our Mind Is like a Garden, Our Thoughts Are Like Seeds, We Can Grow Flowers or We Can Grow Weeds” If you want to grow in life grow good thoughts. This was followed by a thought provoking speech on ‘save environment save life save tomorrow’. After this students gave an outstanding song and dance performance, dedicated to the “Better Environment, Better Tomorrow.” The lyrics were – Let the trees live, let the fish swim, Let the flowers bloom, let the air flow, Don’t cut, don’t kill, don’t pluck, don’t pollute. AND WE WILL SALUTE!

FRIENDSHIP DAY (Orange Day)

The toddler’s wing of Lucky International School, Jodhpur celebrated orange color day on Tuesday (08.08.2017). The event was celebrated to acquaint the little lucky charms and the object related to it. The students were given a thorough understanding of the color orange and how the color got its name. To mark this special day, the students also dressed in orange and were told that it is a secondary color made with the combination of yellow and red. The excitement of the scholars was well appreciated for the orange objects they have brought along, in phrases and in poetry. The scholars also tied friendship band to each other marking the bond of friendship.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION (Pre - Primary)

Lucky International School, Jodhpur celebrated Rakshabandhan 2 days prior on Friday (04-08-2017) marked by one associates with this auspicious occasion. The girls were busy selecting Rakhi for their brothers as LIS was lucky to have few siblings among the pre – Primers. Children today are deprived of true spirit of such festivals due to nuclear family. Few students willingly got the chance to choose their brother and sister. The true value of the internal moral bonding love support between the brother and sister was preached by the mentors followed up by the animated movie on Rakshabandhan.

VISIT TO MEHRANGARH FORT (For BOARDER'S)

On July 30, 2017 Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized an outing for the boarders to The Mehrangarh Fort, it is one of the largest forts in forts. It is also the most magnificent fort in Jodhpur, in fact, in whole Rajasthan. The fort is amongst the popular tourist places in India. It is situated on a 150 m high hill. It was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. Our borders enjoyed the beauty of the fort and got the historical knowledge about it. The outing was accompanied with pleasant weather, so the students enjoyed a lot throughout exploring the beauty and experiencing the living proof of the hard work and skill of the Jodhpuri sculptors.

PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

On July 26th, 2017 lucky International School,Jodhpur organized an inter class photography competition on the title “Still Life” which was wonderfully defined by our superb students with their Excellency of Learning. Students of grades VII – IX took part in this competition with great zeal. They were given distinct topics to perform. The snaps were taken in the school premises and were clicked marvelously after viewing the snaps the school Principal Mrs. Ragini Kachhwaha encouraged all the contestants for their awesome stupendous work.

VISUAL ARTS COMPETITIONS

On July 24th, 2017 Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized a competition for Visual Arts. By using alluring tactics of paper folding method students made creative articles like lamps, popper cards etc. the theme “Its Color Time” was defined by captivating painting made by our fantabulous students. All the articles were like various masterpieces. Inter class clay pottery competition comprised of miscellaneous shapes like toys, flowers etc. made with their tiny and innovative hands. The Principal Mrs.Ragini Kachhwaha was fascinated to witness such a great talent of students and praised them for their tremendous and outstanding work.

PERFORMING ARTS COMPETITIONS

On July 22nd, 2017 Lucky International School, Jodhpur organized weekly competitions in which various activities were included. Dance, music and drama performances were executed with great excellence and perfection, In order to give their best. In the end our Principal Mrs. Ragini Kachhwaha cheered up and praised the exertion of our brilliant students to boost them.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY

On 21.07.2017 Lucky International School,Jodhpur organized Special Assembly which was initiated by grade III on Importance Of Monsoon. Children were dressed up in different attires like cloud, rain, rainbow, water, umbrella etc. They spoke poem on monsoon and expressed the joy of rainy season. They even explained about the viral diseases and there precautions. It was a great experience to see the students acting flawlessly with confidence. The attempt was encouraged and motivated by the school principal Mrs.Ragini Kachhawaha there by all the witnessing enjoyed and recalled the precautions for the season by means of this special assembly.
